honestly i hold no loyalty to any type of connector so long as its weatherproof and can handle the 14ga wire

either one you linked josh would be cool, whatever makes our life easiest wiring this thing in the field

WOW! those fancy ass connectors are pricey... they come as every piece so there are 5 parts to each each connector so... 30 parts in total... totaling to around 17 bucks... but it will look really nice.

the trailer connectors are $1.71 a set plus $2.15 a set of 3 waterproof butt connectors to connect the light harness to the trailer socket harness. total about $10

I will get'r dun and packed up with all the right tools and such. shouldn't take but 20-30 minutes to get them connected... now... the whole wiring em in thing. that might take a wee.
