  • Heater Core issues...?

Hey guys I have a 98 Cherokee Sport and believe my heater core may need replacing. I have tried flushing the entire cooling system, back flushing the core itself with pressured water from my garden hose (got me some decent heat for a week), manually checked my blend door and believe it is in working order, have no heater valve and the thermostat also seems to be in working order (vehicle is getting to operating temp and both core hoses are hot with the top hose being the hotter of the two iirc). So with that out of the way I'm pretty set on it being the core. So my question to you guys is roughly how much will it cost me to get done and does anyone know of a place locally in CT that would be able to do the core at a reasonable price? I would attempt it myself, but with freezing outside temps and no garage I would rather not.

    Thanks,

    Sam

Ah, I'm just joking because I'm in the same boat with my DD, the core went like a week ago, and I'm not looking forward to swapping it.
