That is great for a trail rig... but i think that is pretty far from practical for a weekend warrior with a 30 front.

And i think that that is a giant leap if you have minty rockers.

I am contemplating the same thing as the OP because my rockers are mintacious and i have 2 2x6 pices already to go in that were cut out of another cherokee but i just can't push myself to cut my mintyfresh rockers.

I am going to call false... At least if he is going to use themas sliders...Those take a beating and will self boatside after a while. I have seen it in the interwebs.

If you're cutting out the rockers that don't support anything then welding it to the body / floor should be enough support. Pretty sure thats what Sam did

my rockers didnt look that bad when i started cutting, they rot from the inside out... when u start to see it on the outside it is 100 times worse when u get inside, and rot is a cancer get rid of it all or it WILL be back soon
