  • 8.25 Hard Brake Line onto D44

I'm wondering if the rear hard-line for the brakes on my 8.25 could be swapped over onto the D44.

I'd really like to see that.

Are you tying to say a bubble flare from a double flare kit.

How you can you do the first part of the flare where it bubbles it.

just a regular double flare, not a bubble flare.

Its a single flaring tool, you take the cone off of the "press" part so its flat, put the line in the jig, tighten it together and it squishes the line flat, put the cone back in and flare it. Bam standard double flare from a single flare tool. its really simple and a pretty sweet trick.

its a pretty worthless skill, cause pretty much every flaring kit sold can do a double flare. but i have a single flare tool from the 50's without the pieces for flattening the line, so u gotta use the trickery.

Cool wouldn't have thought of that.

I paid too much money and got the hydraulic flaring kit will do almost every flare double, bubble, both bush on long/short fuel line style flares. and I go the 37* adapters.
