find out the extended/collapsed length and go from there.

well im really not 100% set on blingsteins.... from the knowledge i have, the 5100 series is just a normal monotube comparable to RE's or wut have you....

what would you recommend, for an all around price-function shock

but anyway

5150s, valved 255/75. it wont cost you much more overall compared to 5100s. theyre multi purpose and "cheap" as far as good shocks go IMO. thats what id go with (and did go with when i wanted something similar)

yeh, i had the RE monotubes and still do on the red jeep.... i liked em, but always wanted something more...

My 2 cents is to get something rebuildable. You save cash in the long run and have a much more reliable shock IMO. I know they are more money at the start but if you dont mind used and shop around there are deals. I got my front fox 2.0 res's for 250 a pair

fancy smanzy crap. just get bilsteins, 5100's or 5150's. They are the first shock i haven't destroyed in 15 minutes, they ride nice and they are relatively cheap. I ran no front bumpstops in new jersey, i put the jeep airbourne through some whoops multiple times and they have lived on without an issue.

Where is the best place to purchase a set of Fox 2.0s?
What are you fellers running for valving?
What size do i want to go with if im going through the floor in the rear?

through the floor is up to you and where your mounting points are. you can build your setup to fit any shock you want. I just used my same 10" travel from the stock location to go through the floor in mine, had the mounts put in the spots accordingly oriented straight up and down. my lower mounts are on the leaf spring plate

I run 65/40 on my green jeep (fox valving)
My black jeep has a much tighter rebound.

Poly Performance is a sure bet for 2.0s. Prices are pretty similar across the board in my experience, but i havent shopped for shocks in a couple years now since I got all mine.

I know i should cycle my suspension to get an accurate shock length measurement...
But i don't really have that option at the moment and need to get these on order so i can HOPEFULLY make it to OER.

What length do you run up front? Any safe suggestion for roughly 6 inches of lift? (yes, i know its tall but its what i have to work with)

On your rear, where do the shocks mount on the axle? outside or inside of the spring perch?

Poly performance is where i have been looking. I dont see what the factory valving is though. Do you think i will be able to live with the stock valving till a later point in time?

Front and rear are all 2.0x10" resi shocks on mine

6" lift id run 11-12" travel.

in the rear the shocks mount in the center of the spring plate on top.

if i recall a straight up non OEM application stock FOX Shock will ship at 20/90 or 30/90, you will be fine with that for however long you need it.
