Turn signal/hazzard issues

2000 XJ

first I didn't get anything when I tried the signals/hazzards....replaced the 5 pin relay in driver compartment and still nothing

today out of habit I put my signal on and my right one works now, turned on hazzards to check and after a few seconds the left flasher started going off....but not when I try to get it on as a turn signal

any suggestions?

my 93 had this problem intermitently, but my brake lights and hazards didnt work at all. i rigged them up to my hitch harness and my brake lights ran a wire right to the switch and it worked. sucked, but worked

it was weird, i saw Will at the bar and he said he had the same problem and it cleared itself up, when i started the jeep up maybe 20 mins later it was fixed, he might be a leprechaun

my jeep also had that issue, cept it went backwards, started completely working, went to left intermittent, to no left, then no right... oh well
