Looking into getting a set very soon in 35x12.50. Ive read thry are great offroad Only problem is my XJ is my DD. How do these tires handle on road? Loudness? Wet pavement manners? Wear?

    Thanks in advance.

I've heard they are quite as hell on the street, wear all depends on how you abuse them, but probably 30 thousand miles

If you have the cash, get the toyo open country, by far the quietest street tire.

i dd'ed with em for almost a year. Not that loud, but its an offroad tire they are still loud. not that should even really be an issue though.

They do wear kinda fast from what i have seen, and on wet roads they blow. don't slam on your brakes. offroad i love them, but they are also no different than the mt/r with kevlar or the toyo. To me its all the same shit. anything you buy really comes down to price. IMO the quality is all the same.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

well i have them in the 31x10.5 flavor. on the road i find that they can be a little noisy but not the loudest ive heard. on wet roads they are not very good, dont slam on your brakes or drive turns to hard if its wet they will break loose. biggest thing is you have to remember that you are driving on them not sudden hard breaking no sharp manouvers ect its a cherokee not a race car. off road they are kick ass

never had a problem on wet roads, they wear ok not well but not terrible. the older ones have had sidewall issues(ask me how I know.) the best price i found was Tire rack when I had to replace one.

I'll agree with the majority here. Great off road, air down and climb over just about anything. However, I just sold my 32's after only one year b/c i couldn't justify having them on my dd.(1 year and 10,000mi, they still looked fairly new) Not that great when its wet, that being said, even worse if you happen to hit a painted line while in a turn on wet pavement. Not quiet. I switched when i heard all the good feedback about the new MT/R. Now THIS tire is quiet, and so far great on the rocks. Now all we need is a bit more rain so i can test it in the mud.

Well in reading reviews and what was said on here, the good outweighed the bad so I bit the bullet and got em in 35x12.50 on MT Classic II wheels from 4 wheel parts. They should be here in 5 days......cant wait!

They are not bad tires, reasonably quiet. But they really are about on par with most modern mud terrains mtrs, mtz's and i guess stt's
