does anyone know any details about what axles came with certain options in wj's?

i have a d35 in mine yet it has the 4.7 HO, 247 case, limited, quadra drive, tow package (i assume). i thought it would have the 44a but it doesn't

anyone know what constitutes a 44a in one of these?

Ummmmm I think it should have a 44a. My understanding is only the 4.0 WJ's had D35's and all 4.7's had 44a's. I hope it wasnt in an accident and they threw a 35 in there. Mine doesnt even have a tow package yet has a 44a

i honestly popped my head under then looked away, so maybe it is the 44a. i'll check again tomorrow. it seemed like having a 35 with this package was just wrong

shold have a 44a with 3.73s regardless of a tow package or not...D35 was only in the 4.0s as far as i know an d came with 3.55s or 3.73s with the tow package..you might also have front and rear lsds depending on what tcase you have

k it looks like a 44a i just checked again. the problem is the gas tank sits so low i can only see the bottom bolts
