suggest some brands or at least specs to look for with them. i dont need anything crazy, but ive heard some that the speakers just flat out suck and are basically a waste of space. i want something that i can hide either under the seat or in the center console or something. gimmie some reviews!

I have a cheap cobra one from Walmart. Its nothing high tech and doesn't have any crazy features but its small and it serves its purpose. The antenna I have sucks, but other than that its perfect for the trail.Watch your backhoe, I'm the John Deere man.Comment

Quadratec has a deal with a CB, antenna, and mount for jeeps i think it's a 129 for it all.

Cobra's from Walmart are cheap. You can upgrade to a firestick antenna but if you dont know how to tune its not worth itI don't always drink orange juice, but when I do, I prefer to chew it. #madpulpComment

I have a cobra in my pickup with a good 6' Firestick antenna and It comes in crystal clear Great for messing with the truckers on the highway

a CB is a CB is a CB. unless youre gonna go cb hobbyist and want maximum distance, maximum clarity, beyond what youd ever need just wheeling around...
get any CB you can afford, tune it right with an SWR meter and a decent antenna, and itll do what you'd like

just out of curiosity, how many of you in this thread who said you have one actually use it when wheeling? i feel like on trips a few people have one but someone doesnt have it hooked up or an antenna
