My jeep doors broke :(

I need some help my 95 yj's full doors lock but cant get unlocked from the outside and just five minutes ago my inside latch on the drivers side doesnt work so i have to reach my arm outside and open from there...... i told my boss who has been building jeeps his whole life and all he said was "It adds character" although this is true i would still like to be able to open my jeep and lock it ....... so please if you have any suggestions or pointers tell me im stumped.....

take the door skin off and look inside and see what tiny POS plastic thing probably broke.

My buddy has the same problem on his 95. The previous owner solved this by installing a tuffy center console of sorts.

yeah just don;t keep any thing of value in your jeep EVER!!! lock what you can buy a tuffy console, i have the same stupid door issues i just don;t lock them anymore

Pull off the door pannel and there is a metal access pannel held in by 2 torx bits and a couple phillips head screws. Sometimes the little plastic retainers that hold the rods in place either pop off or break.

Yeah i just went in today and found everthing out fixed locks and latch in about 30 min no problem
