  • Aussie no worky

i am officially the only person on the face of this earth that cannot get an Aussie locker to properly install into an 8.25

it seems to matter what configuration i try to put the second half of gears in, they will not fit.

i tried putting both halves in and the pins wont fit. i tried putting the pins in and the second half wont fit. i tried pulling both halves out and installing with the pins in at once and it doesn't fit.

i'm officially jeep stupid and have no idea what to do
    I drive a Datsun

    simple.

    assemble aussie into carrier.
    weld aussie together.

    locker forever
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

I'm not quite sure what you mean it doesnt fit... but I put all the pins into the center gears, (I put them in the open side) put the center gears in after fucking around seating the c-clips a little then slide the pins over with a rubber coated nail into the closed part and pop the springs in.

If there literally isnt enough clearance for the center gears the only thing I can thing of is to line the opposite gear up with the teeth on the other side to give you that extra little bit of room.
