    Im gonna buy the cor one ton steering for my xj. Just wondering on average, how much will i have to cut the tie rod tube to have it fit? if it matters this is gonna be a otk setup

    I think we cut like 8-12 inches off mine,

    1999 XJ 4 inchs of lift or so, 35s and some other stuff.

      mock up the tie rod ends, and use a tape measure. Don't just go ohhh 8 inchs that should be good.

      and be sure to leave enough room for adjustability.
      No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

        i wasn't gonna just measure out 8 inches and cut, i didn't to get flustered when i would end up cutting a foot off. Im probably going to measure from half way down each tre threads and go from there, this would account for adjustability correct?
