oh man did you steel DM's bumper?

Bumper is to be tied in with 1/4 plate run through between the hitch and "frame" using the same holes as the hitch... Everything is mounted up... Just need to finish welding it to the body of the bumper. Hardware is of grade 8 flavor

how far are the D-ring mounts from the body mounts?

if you are really pulling with them and they are to far away, the transfer of energy doesn't work as well and you might put unwanted stress on all the joints and the steel itself. just a heads up.

Joints of what? Please explain to me where the energy goes if it doesn't get transferred to the body

The body mounts and ties are only a few inches from the d-rings. I highly doubt the "joints" or the bumper itself will be subjected to anywhere near their limits. If so, the bumper is the least of my worries
