This whole idea started because i was sick of moving my top open box out of the cubby hole next to my subs just to open it if i wanted a tool. it was big and bulky and just kinda stuck out, so i decieded to take some measurements and build my own tool and storage box.
i found a old miller display i got when i worked at Amoskeag i was doing anything it was just taking up space so the cutting began.
this is how is sat in my basement
started cutting into it,
I put all the sides together and put the bottom on came out with a box 11.5" wide 12" deep and 14" tall
I found some scrape carpet and lined the bottom and made some dividers into the bottom as well. (along with some tool to check it out)
I then cut the back of the box with a angle so that it would match the seat and added a top with a latch.
Next i put in a shelf 4 inches from the bottom cut a hole in the middle to make it easy to remove and used some more of that carpet that mom yelled at me for taking
Finally load it up and check how everything fits
Tools,
Shelf,
Random Stuff,
Lock the Top.
Best part, Sticker it up
Now throw it in the jeep and see how it fits.
Love It.
