  • makin a bumpa!

Im making a rear bumper and I was wondering, should I bolt the mounts to the bumper or weld them on?

I would weld them, as it is you will have a ton of bolts holding the bumper to the body.

ok. Im using the stock mounts but im going to beef them up a lot. Also the hitch, im thinking of cutting up from the bottom and welding across the bottom and around it front and back, good idea or should I do it in the center of the hitch like every other bumper?

            wait.

if you are building a bumper don't build it gay and use stock tin foil mounts.

even if you are beefing them, you would be better off building new dookin mounts

No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.
