Can anybody running JCR's stage 2 rocksliders (or anything comparable) tell me what the outside diameter of the tubing is and how far the 2 support tubes stick out from the main box tubing?

Looks like i'm going to pick up JoeNitros old sliders and order some DOM to try and fabricate something very similar. Just trying to get a feel for how much toob to order and what size.

just based on a guess from my head, the stage 2s are 1.5" or 1.75" DOM. i run em on the xj.

i measured em for dave once, they dont stick out more than 3" i do not believe. prob 2.

No tube bender so i guess i'm just gonna cut the tubes at an angle and weld them up with three 2.5" long support pieces. Looks like i'm gonna go with 1.5" OD 3/16th wall.

I dunno if you where really adamant about the round tubing but Kevins Offroad uses box and its pretty much exactly what the picture you got there shows....

Yea i thought about box tubing, but i'm not sure i like the look. A couple different companies do it, and all of the companies who use round tube use a bender. I'm going with a little differen't look with cutting the tube.

Do you need someone to bend the tubing for you? A couple of us have benders.

Nah that's alright. I appreciate the offer but it would be a hassle for both of us because i have no license right now, i kinda like the idea of how the notched tubing will look anyways. I haven't seen it done before and i think it will look pretty good.

Plus it's another reason for me to practice welding
