Some upper shock mounts. Anybody think these will work?

    Almost looks like the shock could also be mounted higher up top, but still under the shock tower, if a different bracket was used. In the pictures it looks like the shock is about an inch or two away from the body!

        Basically what I was going for minus only being held on by 2 tack welds. The sheetmetal there is double thick though so it should be mroe than strong enough if you burn it in real good and gusset it.

        If the Jeep doesn't ever sell I might revisit the idea.

          he probably just tacked for fitting but i think it would be fine especially if you gusset it.
