ok so i finally decided to start a build thread. the plane is sterling 10.25 rear and Dana 60 front 5.38 gears with Detroit locker in the front not sure what I'm doing for a locker in the rear yet or a spool.

here is where she started at




stared to work on the rear about a month ago and got it all mocked up.





started to work on some stiffeners.

now for where i am now started on the front waiting for one more jonny joint to come in and ill have everything to finish the front

well officially after tonight i no longer can go back to short arms but the plan is to have it done by April 10th. as of now my axle is at some guys house one of my buddy's works with welding the c on as to my welder is not big enough. when that comes back i have to reassemble the axle, finish the long arms and stiffeners. as to parts left to buy i still need gears, lockers, a new inner axle shaft and some tires

im trying like hell just heard that i should have the axle back tmrw night Ive been working on it every night from the time i get out of work till about 9 my plan for this week is to have the long arms done and front axle in

no clue on tires i want to find a set of used tires ranging between a 36-40 if i cant find any used i may get a set of mtr Kevlars or km2 but havent looked to hard into that yet need to get everything else done first

sorry guys haven't had time to take more pics but for where i am front axle is cut brackets are on and order my axle shaft today should be in Monday. stiffeners are welded on rear disk conversion is in the mail and hopefully order gears and lockers tmrw still need to find a deal on used tires if not i guess ill be going new. ill try for pics tmrw no promises.
