apparently they hold up good. and people beat the fawk outta these things offroad. and if they wear out, replace themOriginally posted by Burton58 View Postquestion.... is there any concern about wear on the sliders? you have to think that even driving down the street they slide thousands of times. thoughts??

Not really. Tim ran them on his rig for a number of years, plus sliders in general arent just LII's design (obviously) so many other rigs have had these before. Lots of good reports, especially on wear. Tim never replaced his once, and they looked good as far as im aware.Originally posted by Burton58 View Postquestion.... is there any concern about wear on the sliders? you have to think that even driving down the street they slide thousands of times. thoughts??
From what I understand it lasts a long time, and even if they only lasted a few 1000, 2 tiny squares are insanely cheap and just as easy to install/uninstall- Will

From what I have read, slider boxes have been used in circle track racing for years, thats all i got though other than discussion that it would probably be beneficial for desert speed use, but it is outlawed in a few classes..not sure why, maybe parts advantage?Originally posted by Supermanxj View Postso what about speed running???
