Just playing the devils advocate, but lower axle gears also puts more stress on the gears themselves.

I know you are going to say you're D60 gears are holding up just fine, but I know Vetteboy has never blown a 1310 joint in over 2 years of wheeling on 4.56's, or something to that nature. Not that Vetteboy is the end all rig to base your own on, but I'm sure he's not the only person to do it.

Again, I don't really have any first hand experience on the matter, I just wanted to give Cody something to think about.

Just sayin, I saw the wideJ blow a couple u-joints if i remember right, 4.56 gears and he had mega masive u-joints (1350 or 1410)

If I were cody I'd do 5.13 minimum.

Higher (numerically) gears takes way more stress off the drivetrain components

why is this an argument? if you are gearing anyway, get some low gears and take some stress off your drivetrain and get back some POWA.

but if you have a 3 speed slushbox of fail it seems your options may be limited

So after months of searching, looking, talking to people looking for a front axle. I finally stopped being a bitch and decided to go the route I wanted to.

Just sealed the deal on these


They are Kyle Butchers axle he had Doug from Extreme Axle sales build for his project, but he has decided to go a different route. So I worked out a deal with him and going to be getting this to Zach at AtoZ as soon as we can.
