full frame plate from hd offroad engineering. then cut out all sheetmetal to the framerails... tie 2x6 into frame at prolly 4-5 points one being the leaf hanger. Plate with 3/16 and when i can afford it UHMW. ANDD I want to keep functioning doors which will be a stretch lol.

LOL... You have no idea...this winter was hell... nothing except a tractor with tracks could get up our driveway without either being pulled up by someone on top or with the driveway being plowed and ashed ( and we still had a hard time getting up it.) This shit is steeep and fo srsly it is kinda long driveway.

and I needed and excuse to break out the jeep and drive it on the road some.

hahaha I was just bustin your balls. I did the same thing and my driveway wasn't that steep or long. I just saw that and knew instantly what you were doing.

Bumping this for motivation.

Looking at possibly a class 1 RCROCS'ish. so no boatsides.



It has sat for a year with no axles underneath it and it was going to go to scrap... But it was still in "okay" shape and i want something to beat on. Therefore when i do get rid of it, IT WILL BE SCRAP LOL.

I know some of you might think "well what the fuck, this kid said he wanted something DD'able and wheelable and he had a tow rig???
WTF???

My answer to this is, well i have the dd'able wheelable jeep almost where i want it and i hope to have use of my dad's truck to tow the beaner with so win win... and my dad has been hounding me to get the beaner off of the cinder blocks and to get rid of the 33" mud dawgs but A. Like i explained above i want a beater again and B. no one seems to want those tires.


so let the shitshow begin.

picked up what i think are some clayton leafs that need rebuilt. and some stock steering with a hd draglink that supposedly can be driven on and not bend... I will test this i hope.
