finally had some decent timely weather on saturday to get a few things done, got an oil change in, and was able to install both the front and rear addco sway bars, the bars are awesome but come with cheap shitty hardware so i went and got greaseable poly bushings and the stock 93-95 style end links. the bars are a nice addition in the handling, especially noticed when i was on the highway today going around a curve, it hugs the road really nice and doesnt feel like it wants to be 3 lanes over without forcing it to stay but still not as stiff as i thought it was going to be. haters say what you want, all-in-all a really nice addition to the rig.

found a 52mm bored TB on ebay, seller said that it didnt fit his 5.9 because the cable bracket was different... nothing a little re-engineering couldnt take care of

nice snappy response now that its straight through without the neck-down behind the throttle plates, typical bored TB goodness. also noticed a little better mpgs at cruise and under light acceleration. hammered off the line in conjunction with the injectors and cold air its just a beast. I cant wait to put some money into the exit side of the engine

Awesome build, thats a beautiful specimen! Dont kill it! I saw one in the bone yard diring cash for clunkers equally as nice. It was heart breaking! Live the viper key too, what did that cost.

so Mr Tim and I completed the 242 swap over the weekend, and all i can say is the zeej is an absolute animal in 2wd. the drive-ability is so much better too, no binding when negotiating turns, and you can feel that there's less road tension now. only trouble is the z-gate adjuster is frozen so getting it back into 2wd requires getting underneath and engaging the linkage by hand. But talks are in the works with one of the techs at Novak for a shift cable and bracket designed for the zj so hopefully we're done with snow this year and I can ride out the time being in 2WD until they get them on the market

took a few minutes yesterday and made a new spare mount bolt out of an xj tank strap j-bolt, now its nice and snug against the inner quarter and not sliding around in the back

installed some 4600 series monotubes front and rear over the weekend. nice positive response, excellent roll control and the damping is much better over the stock twin tubes

rear brakes have seen better days, guess i should add that to the list
