I ran without a stabilizer for a couple years, no problems. When I did get death wobble, it was because all my steering joints were shot and I had tires that didn't balance well. Even if a steering stabilizer would have stopped the DW, it would have been a very poor solution.

Bump steer comes from poor steering/trackbar geometry. Correcting the geometry is the only thing that will help that. What steering/trackbar are you running? Unless you are running a trackbar with a drop bracket or did something else to change that stock geometry, you wouldn't have any bumpsteer.

        IRO double shear.

I don't have bumpsteer. I was just wondering if that stopped some of it.
I have my shattestic stock steering

Steering stabilizers mask the real problems and for most of use are not need. If you plan on this being a mostly trail rig them a steering stablizer isn't needed. If you really feel that need to have one I can sell you my skyjacker setup since it no longer fits on my draglink anyway..

It is nice on the street as it seems inevitable that something wears out and gives you death wobble. It is NO solution, but it helps when things start to get a little sloppy.

Go back and read what Zullo wrote about 3 links and short arms in his long post in the other thread.

If you WANT to build a 3 link, go for it. But you definitely would be fine with short arms, and maybe better off if you're pinching pennies. I would take Zullo's advice and use Johnny Joints over heims either way though.
