Once the frame was completely bare I hoped to find a rust free replacement but no such luck... I then decided to have the frame sandblasted so that I could further expose any problem areas that may be hiding within the framerails.
I continued to look for parts while the frame was out at sand blasting and stumbled upon a 4.10 Dana 35 with Alloy USA axles, relocated shock mounts, a differential guard and a rear locker for $250... Only catch it was located all the way out by the Cape in Massachusets.
I decided one day after school I was going to take the ride out and go pick it up.... A six hour trip later the axle was sitting in my shop.
In the mean time of my frame being out for sandblasting; I brought in the second Jeep and found a buyer for the white body and several miscellaneous parts all that was left from the white body were the doors.
Picked up a set of Bushwacker pocket flares, and as quickly as they went on, off the came...
