so im tossing around the idea of NOT sacraficing my xj build and getting a 4L10 8.8 out of a ranger or explorer and then hunting down a 4.10 D30 or sourcing some sort of 44 action for the front. i know all the blah-blah about C-clips but considering it wont see much more than trail rides(aside from the fact the xj will still be in tact) i dont see it being an issue. Thoughts?

Could.... The only reason I would see having the 44 in front then would be the fact you will have a supercharger and your D30 might not like the hp. but could also be a waste of money for the MJ.

Maybe do simple DDish build on MJ and build XJ more?

the front would be basically whatever comes to me in the way of 4.10s to match the rear. like i said the mj isnt going to see much trail time so its kindof a wash whether its a 30 or a 44 up front
