    Project: Momentum

    A couple Weeks ago i picked up a 98 xj it is stock now but i plan to build this for the woods.

    Current Specs

    98 xj sport
    4.0 I6 5 speed (needs Clutch)
    hp d30 front 29 spline 8.25 rear 3.07 gear
    108k on the clock

    Here are the plans......

    First New clutch
    3.5" lift full coil and leaf packs
    33's in either the Km2 or MTZ flavor (depending on funds)
    eventually geared and locked.
    doorless conversion
    and armor







    I drove the xj about 3 miles home and even with no clutch i managed to get her a little dirty




    so lots of updates on my build.

    installed new clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder in early january.......... i was sourcing parts till last weekend.




    Turns out the throw out bearing went, but being all the way in there i replaced the clutch and fly.

    Last weekend i was home and took the time to trim! trimmed for 33's i think it will be enough........

      I purchased a 3.5 inch rough country kit off the list of craig........ going to pilfer it for coils, shocks and LCA's and with the help of Armand & Dan i acquired a couple extra leafs to build a 3.5 to 4.5 inch bastard pack. Thanks guys!!










      Found some used km1's in the 33 flavor for 150$ it was a no brainer.

              Lift went in today. i gained about 4 inches........ 33 will be on tuesday and i will get some photos up!

                I'm glad the springs worked out well. I'm waiting to see some pics

                2000 XJ, BJ 60 front, welded, 5.13's, 3 link, ruffstuff heims. D70 rear, detroit, 5.13's, discs. stretched. trail ready beadlocks. 39" Red labels. 4:1 Klune V-drive/D20, PSC full hydro

                      ok here are the photos with the lift and 33's. got the tires all mounted up this morning going to be kinda warm all week so lots of plans and updates to come! enjoy!

                            wow sits good. Looke like it has some decent flex in the rear too. now the only limit in back is probably the shackle

                              No they rub I have black steel wheels with 3.75" back spacing that will go on in the spring when I register it
