Andrew did some work today too. He found a rear shaft in a junkyard for me for $100 and put that in to finish the 242 swap. He did some MPG upgrades like new plugs, belt, and fuel filter. Hopefully it'll get her above 11.7 mpg 
I heard these fuel filters were problems on wjs, but Christ.

I would love to gear. I would need to find someone who can do them first. Second, since I have the vari-lok axles and 44a everything needs to change from shafts, carriers, everything. Then I would want lockers, front shafts are the stupid cv joints so they wouldn't stand a chance so I'd want rcv's. WJ axles just suck to build. It would easily be 2-3 grand. Not worth it for how little I drive it. I'm hoping the new tcase and maintenance should get me back in the teens.Originally posted by ninetysix-ex-jay View Post
