take the mounts, cut the bolt off the "U", and tack weld them to the bumper. 'tis what i did.

yeah i didn't get time to mount the frame tie-ins so the tow hook brackets are still on. in a week or 2 they are coming off and will be for sale.

good idea adam though i don't want to fuck up the powder coat now, i may just make a small bracket that mounts to the light tabs to lower them a tad

UPDATE

good news - my axles are getting built and installed










bad news - the guy doing them isn't going to be back from moab till april 14th. that leaves about 2 weeks to build the brakes, regear run brake lines and swap them in. plus i want to break in the gears before driving on them all the way to RC. i think there will be enough time but in case something goes wrong it could be a tight deadline.

tomorrow i'm going to the junk yard to try to get a ZJ proportioning valve. i'm going to start installing brake lines, bumpstops, and fixing the rear driveshaft today

picked up a zj proportioning valve and radio wiring harness from the junk yard today. total cost $5 buddy grabbed some parts off an 84 supra that was there also
