  • Drop Pitman Arm

Was talking to a friend the other day and he said he rebuilt his entire front end to solve his d.w. and got no results until he threw a 5 in drop pitman arm and it went away.

Im running around 6in of lift, how much drop should i get, and does anyone have one they wanna sell for decent $$

    5 inch drop? Holy fuck.

Any sort of change with your pitman arm and you are going to need to adjust your track bar length and brackets.

Your drag link and track bar have to remain parallel (equal length is also ideal) or else you are going to get massive bump steer.

This might help, Im looking for answers to this; When i hit bumps, i don't get d.w, it's more of a steering wheel shimmy. i might need bushings for my uppers but i want to try this since most people i know with even a 4.5 in lift come with the drop. I've read the fix yo death wobble thread and checked all of that stuff.

And could someone explain what you have to do with keeping the drag link parralel with whatever? a pic would help greatly
