i threw a p0700 code, "fault in TCM", and everything ive read has said i can just replace the module itself. anyone got one of these?

The TCM itself may be fine and that P0700 may just be a code to let you know there is a manufacturer specific code stored. You may not have been able to retrieve it if you used a generic OBDII scan tool.
