4.0 exhaust manifold

i need an uncracked exhaust manifold for my 96 XJ. i know that may be hard to come by

and 297 shafts pleaaassssseeee

$65 on ebay for a new stock style with the flex pipes or weld up a cracked one and wait for it to crack again

i've heard those cheap headers crack even easier. maybe i'm wrong

i havent had mine in long enough to tell you, but the only reason the stock ones crack is because of the different cool rates between cylinders. The flex pipe sections allow some movement so the section where the 2 main pipes meet dont get stressed.

if yours doesn't sound bad i'd leave it and save your money for a hedder(rugged ridge,borla ect). i've been running mine with a crack for quite sometime now and it's been quiet as far as exhaust leaks go

I pulled mine, welded it, and reinstalled in 3.5 hrs. doo eeet
