One of the guys I work with just bought a lifted TJ as his midlife crisis vehicle (hes 50, and about 300 lbs). Hes lookin for the chrome side steps that have the flat black center in them.

Whats the difference? The ones I'm talking about are usually chrome, bolt (i think) to the frame and near the doors they have a black section that has some grooves and is flattened to use as a step. I believe they were stock on a few models.2000 XJ
