    carb guru

    Looking to find somebody to just build this carb so i can finish the project. Ive honestly had enough of learning as i go, and juar want to drive my jeep again. Anybody know someone that really knows what they are doing? Dont mind tossing dollara, beers, pizza, what have you....to get this done, the tank came in so im trying to shoot for my birthday aka the meet and greet

    What kinda carb.?if its a h]olley 4412 I know my was around those Fairley well.

      I had the same carb. first time I ever rebuilt an automotive carburetor and it took me like a half hour from the moment I pulled the carb to getting it running.

      Its best to learn about it on a bench than when on the trail and you can't get the thing to run.

        Understandable. Which is why I have a 2bbl laying around that doesnt matter to learn on. I cant wheel it for a few months since i have to break in the fresh motor, so I'm not too worried about it dying on the trail yet.

                I have a 4bbl Carter afb Carb if you're interested. I'm pretty sure it came off a Chrysler 318 if that matters.
                I don't always drink orange juice, but when I do, I prefer to chew it. #madpulp

                    Its been a little bit since I have done one, but i have a good amount of experience with them. Rebuilding it is the easy part, its understanding how it works, and how to tune it thats hard.(er)
