  • Need front end CJ 456 gears

    I have a dana 30 up front and a 8.8 in back 456 gears. ARB airlocker -not sure if this can be used with another axle?

    I need to replace the dana 30 with something stronger. Solid axle pass side.

    I can weld on a mounting kit, just need to know whats available.

    I have a dana44. 6 lug. Would need to be geared but that can be arranged. Nothing from a 30 will work with any other axle.

      is it a drivers side differential? I have not idea how to swap my jeep from drivers to passengers side diff

        Nope, pass drop. Has flat top knuckles to use for high steer also.

          Ok, I have some homework to do. I would like a 44 up front but I need to see what it takes to convert to pass side dif

              Ah,I see... no, I need Drivers side Diff, solid axle on pass side (solid axle conversion -no engagement needed)


              I don't understand why I can't just flip the axle and flip the differential??

                OOOOHHHHHHH that would be a non disconnect axle than. The mechanism with a 2 piece shaft is called a center axle disconnect.
                So you need a drivers drop axle. Cant help you there. Should be easy to find a 44. Then you get whatever you want for gears and lockers and drop it off to me
