i think they are different lengths if i recall...the auto is about four inches longer, be careful with this one cus even if they are same length per se' what u have to watch for is the yoke cus if there isnt enough spline the shaft when compressed could snap the front half of the trans case... id rather be patient and match the correct one than chance busting a case...99 XJ on tons and 40s....Comment
