Dana Novakadapters has a good description of what year AX-15 is what.
Basically internal clutch up to 92 is new gears 90ish new gears have larger pilot bearing, use bearing older is smaller used bushing. Also newer gear/older gears us different length T-case input all are 23 spline though.
Also XJ and YJ t-case is clocked different XJ down YJ up you can just redrill it

If you plan on putting an Ecotec infront you need the older gears and internal slave.

sorry we call it a "conversion" because its sold as a complete kit with bellhousing, shifter, transfercase and tc shifter and clutch setup....otherwise we would sell it as the tranny itself and the tc itself bare. ill pm hm about posting on here.
