  • 4.0 Bellhousing bolts and starter

like the thread says. My friend is doing a 4.0 swap and needs bellhousing bolts and a starter. Anyone know the size of the bolts? I'm going to google it now, but in case I can't figure it out....

How does he plan on passing emissions? I think the NV3500 and the AX-15 have the same bell housing bolt pattern you should do some investigation.

how would he have a problem with emissions ? if its OBD, he would just need to keep emission sensors/no CEL , if older then its ran on a dyne anyways

it's a 97, so OBDII and I think there's some process you can go through. He was saying something along the lines of, as long as that motor was offered by that manufacturer in that body style, you can do the swap.
