  • Old style moped

i'm interested in buying an older style moped for riding around campus here at uconn.
must be cheap(college budget, you know) and must be less than 50 cc.
running would be preferable, but non running is also acceptable.
also feel free to throw your input in about which brand/make/model i should be keeping an eye out for

Hint use the little read Toro snow blower motor with centrifugal clutch.
Start engine and use grinder if you need to modify the crank. use cutting disk to put in key way.

use bottom bracket for for jack shaft (I just cut off the old peddles and weld the sprocket straight to them), use math and find out what gear reduction you need for top speed around 30mph.

Northern tool for centrifugal clutch, sprockets and chain.

I've built a few of them. Here are a couple that I built
