Currently I've had a few people express interest in the light bar I made for either myself or Will. I've been tossing the idea around of making them on my spare time when I'm not on the ship. I figured I should throw a name on them at least, and with the help of Will, I now have a logo (thanks bud).
So about the bar:
The bars are made by hand and each piece is hand fit with no use of a jig. The basic design will be the same but I can throw in a certain degree of customization regarding light placement, height, and profile. The model I made for Will is the ones I will be making (version 2.0). I figure the cost for an SIS member would be around $80 and production should start when I come back this October. I will also be selling the light bar on my Jeep for $60 as I'll be making mine new one like the one I made for Will with some special touches.
Look at the pictures to see how low profile the bar actually is compared to others on the market. This is why I first started making them. They are able to be made with such a low profile because, unlike other bars, they're made from steel not aluminum so there is hardly any deflection. Even with getting his Jeep airborne, the bar will not strike the Jeep.
I'm basically trying to get a feel to see if there is a market out there for my stuff. So if you're interested, post up
