79 f250s came with high pinion 60's i believe, and the the ad says its 8 lug, so i'm thinkin its gotta be.

either way a HP 44 for 250 aint bad either.

Same axle I run in the front of my cherokee, 8 lug high pinion 44 out of a 79 F250. Either way It's a great deal, I paid 400 bucks for mine.
