i know it probably wont work with an auto though, think the input shaft is too short.

Im putting a transfer case from an auto in it and im just cutting down the input shaft.

Yes it is complete drum to drum, I daily drive this thing and its never failed me. Its never been offroad either, hardly a spec of rust on the housing. Solid axle, and yeah , its got 307s.
