  • 1968 M715 5/4 ton Military Truck - roller/runner

i am selling off my amassed collection of jeep projects so i can focus on one rig. which means the m715 has to go :-(

the good: it turns over with good compression

the bad: no fuel is getting to the carb

i do have a new pump for it, just haven't had the time to put it in. i might get to is this week, but i want to get the listing up *now*

it does have some rust issues --- what 40 year old truck doesn't? i am not a body man, so that is one of the reasons i am getting rid of it. plus with my dad's m725 to play with, i don't feel the need to restore it, and i can't bring myself to chop it up for a trail rig.

I am asking $1500 (to an SiS member)... has a fair number of spare parts to go with it... and i also have an extensive network of people who can answer tech questions and parts and what-not. can work out delivery if need be.

    230 ci straight six
    4-speed with granny gear
    dana 60 front
    dana 70 rear
can run 36" w/o lift, can clear 40's with a spring over in the front and shackle flip in the rear

has two brand new batteries and a new fuel pump... will need a new fuel tank though

truck is located in south-central pa

it was last run 3 years ago. was registered and street-driven. then the fuel-tank dropped and pop. it sat. salvage guy picked it up, was going to scrap it... i saved it... been mine ever since. can let a good steel soldier go the way of the scrap yard

i do have a guy coming to look at in an hour. just so you know. not sure if he has cash in hand or not. just giving you a heads up.

yeah, with the 725 over in storage (which i just got back from taking around the block ), i have even less motivation to do anything with this.
