  • Class 1 XJ

    http://newhaven.craigslist.org/cto/4963200595.html

Really setup to max out RCrocs class 1 rules.

I did a bunch of the work on this XJ.
The 242 T-case is setup for full time low range. So you can lock the rear tires with the cutting brakes and be the only one to do a Class 1 Legal Front Dig.

The rear is open with individual cutting brakes, the front is welded, the spartan's wasn't holding up.

    RCV shafts,
    SYE,
    New Tires, Bead locks.

Suck down winch front and rear.
    Boxed rockers, flat skid.

We did the 4.88 front 5.38 rear trick, so you have unbelievable steering.
You can still drive straight no problem, offroad the tires are always slipping. Or put it in full time.
It setup to so the drive train is neutral when turning and "binding" when going straight where as most people set it up to be neutral when going straight and binding when turning.
Rock-crawling going straight is the easy part you want the most advantages you can get when turning.
I run all my jeeps this way.

If you have any questions you can ask me or

I'm pretty sure he is wants to sell it whole. A lot easier to move a jeep that still together.
He has a baby, and too much other stuff going on.
He never even used it last year.

Definitely worth the money the RCV shaft alone are over grand then add almost new tires, on bead locks.
You are basically getting a very capable XJ for less than a grand.

He's had a million offers for the tires, and doesn't want to separate. Doesn't want to deal with parting something out, having something in pieces etc.

Buy the whole thing and part it out yourself.
