  • 1000sqft garage for rent

So, looks like I'll be renting out my house, the potential renters don't have an interest in the garage, so I'm looking to rent out the garage separate.

    Naugatuck CT

    Details:
    The garage is 1000sqft NONCOMMERCIAL.
The 10,000lbs 2post lift will stay.
There is an exhaust hose and a hole in the garage door so you can run the cars with the door shut.
    There is a 1/2 bathroom.
    There is gas heat.
Big exhaust fan if you are welding or just cool the shop off.
    There is no offroad parking.
No noise after 9:00 weekdays 10:00 weekends.
You can be in there just now power tools, hammers etc.

You would be responsible utilities, electricity, you have a 200amp panel directly in the shop so plenty for a welder, air compressor etc.
Also natural gas of for the heat, the building is not insulated so I just heat it when I'm out there. You could also use propane heaters if you don't want a monthly bill.
The bathroom is heated. I'll leave a little electric heater which has been able to keep the bathroom worm the last few years. Just keep the door shut.
Garbage is ~$200 a year the dump 1/2 mile away takes oil and antifreeze for free.
I will also ask you shovel the 20ft of sidewalk in front of the garage.

Let me know if you are interested.

I've been there a few times. $300 a month plus power is a bad ass deal for anyone needing a good place to build or work on something.

          Is the lathe included?

It might be worth it to split a rent with someone.

I'm going to be there tonight installing a garage door opener.
If anyone wants to check it out.

Hasn't worked out yet. No one wants to commit.
I'm trying to stay word of mouth before I have to deal with the Craigslist Crazies.

I would have jumped on a shop like this so fast before I bought my house.

Split it with a couple friends, everyone is there to help everyone else out.
Do a side job a month to pay for the place.

Last night was the first night I worked on my buggy.
The new house garage is so small I never took a full step.
Extension cords everywhere. Climbing over everything.
It was so nice having a shop.

Makes me wish I never emptied out the garage I would be able to still work out of it.
