Cheap winch

Upgraded my winch and have my old one. It is a Gorilla 8k. Its the same as the older XRC8 and other Chinese winches. It has served me well but I went to a 10k.
I have the 5/16 cable that it came with years ago, in rough shape but working and a brand new 3/8" cable also. The frame and drum looks to be the same size as the 10k I just got but Im not 100% so I dont know if the 3/8 will spool all the way. I also have a brand new fairlead to go with it.
Works well. I regreased the planetary last year.

Its pretty slow. Although yours is REALLLYYY slow. I dont now that its any better

I'm going to pick up some 2x6 for slides next week. Ill get my rockers all cut out and ready for welding if your still up for that.
