  • anyone want D60 frond axles?

went shopping at the local yard today. found this stuff.

toyota rear i know that much.

half a D50, i can look for the rest if someone wants it

few of these there too, driver drop, HP, locking hubs, 8 lug 2 piston calipers, ball joint

then this one from a dually as well, forget if it's HP or PL though

think this is an E350 D60 rear so smooth 60 housing with D70 tubes and ends?

another pile of stuff i didn't dig into yet.

also 2 or 3 more WJ front axles with knuckles, maybe LSD, one had brakes.
i think i can get all the good stuff off the WJ housings for like 150. not sure about the other stuff. let me know if anyone here is interested. i just tell the guy i'm there and i walk around the place to see what's there then go tell him what i want.

Curious, how much for the D60 front axle and the D50?
You can use the D50 hubs to make that D60 a SRW.

I would definitely be interested in ball joint non-dually knuckles, hubs, etc IF there is a set with bolt on calipers. (The ones in the dually axle shown look to be slide on calipers, not interested in those.)

      Let me know, thanks.

Which D60 front? I have the Dodge kingpin one at my house now that's like new on the inside. $200 if you want that.

Probably $200 for any of them I'm thinking. I may get back there today and look more or try and find the other half of that 50.

Sorry, I would need a driver's drop, ball joint, dual piston, non-dually. How's that?

Yep. Really just stealing the outers to swap on my Dodge. Ditch the unit bearings, single piston calipers and CAD for tapered bearings, dual pistons, and lockouts.

Also, bolt on calipers. Not the funky slide on ones with the little wedges.

                Thanks for looking!!!

Got stuck at school longer than I wanted to, didn't get to look for more today.

I'll get better info on them tomorrow if I can.

Yes I like the ball joint axles better. But I really don't want to spend too much money right now.
So if Harry wants the outers I'll take the housing.
Actually the same way I bought my last housing.
That axle is pretty rusted so should be asking for much, shouldn't be more than $200 for the full axle.
Maybe throw in the D50 outers for another $50

Basically just a little more than scrap value

Harry whats wrong with the wedge style calipers?

Going in halvsies on an axle sounds good to me!

I have the bolt on calipers on the D60 in my Jeep and really like them. The wedge design just seems like a pain, no one I know seems to like them.

I have never had a problem with the wedge calipers. I have them now, and have a lot of customers vehicles with them. No real problems.

But little wedges don't give me a warm fuzzy feeling. Like a bolt would
