  • Custom Mountain Bike

I don't ride anymore and have outgrown this thing anyway. Back in its day (10 years ago) this bike was pretty nice. Built it all myself with a mishmash of parts. Make me an offer, it would be a great bike for someone wanting to get into Mountain biking. It's very light as well and very nice to ride....from what I remember. Can bring to meet and greet.

    What it's got:
Universal Cycles Mustang Silver 17" frame - Reynolds 7005 aluminum
Manitou Mars Super front fork with MRD crown - 80mm travel I believe
    Shimano parts:
    XTR v-brakes
    XT front/rear derailleur
    XT 170mm? Crank
    XT 9 speed shifter/levers
    XT cassette
    Can't remember what bottom bracket
Time ATAC Alium clipless pedals with AXO size 10 shoes if I can find em
    SRAM chain
Mavic 222 rims, DT spokes, red nipples, XT hubs
Hutchinson Python Gold tires - probably need new ones. They hold air, but are ten years old.
Yeti Grips on unknown brand riser handlebar
    Profile Stiffy Stem
    Cane Creek C2 Headset
Ritchey seat post with leather/Kevlar seat with quick release clamp

any idea what you're looking to get for it?

I been thinking about buying a bike for the days I don't feel like running and the one I had when I was younger just ain't gonna get it done now haha.

Bike experts... i'm 6' 2", is it too small?
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

Make me an offer. I have no clue what it's even worth at this point. Back then a lot, but no clue now.
