just figured out my old cb works after ordering a brand new one. both are identical uniden 520XL. the reason the old one did not work was because the mic was broken at the wire where it plugs in. if anyone wants it let me know or make an offer on it. i can give the mic with if i can fix the old broken wire but if not you'll need to get a new mic.

i think they are like 50 bucks. got everything with it as new minus the mic situation.
