  • Feeler- 2000 XJ

I'm probably going to be selling my cherokee and buying another one. I'm not really sure how much to list it for. I know you don't total up the cost of the lift, and tac it onto the price.

Just wondering if I could get some feedback from you guys as to what you'd pay for my Jeep.

    Its a 2000 XJ
    3.5" lift
    32x11.5" BFG All terrains
    LP 30 front
    8.25 rear end
    AA SYE
    Teraflex adjustable trackbar
    3 row aluminum radiator
new water pump, thermostat and hoses
    Stock bumpers front and rear.

Motor has 117k miles and it runs great.

The interior is in pretty good shape. I'm not sure if I'd get more parting it out. Seems kind of silly since the interior is still in good shape and it runs strong. I'm just sick of chattering my dam teeth out whenever I go anywhere. I don't wheel a lot unless its around town and a stocker will fit me better for a while. I have about 4x as many expenses right now and its just not feasible for me to upgrade everything I want on it.

Go on autotrader, edmunds, kbb, and such and do used car appraisals and then look at what others are listing it for. I would try to put as many stock parts as you can and then sell whatever seperately. You aren't going to be getting more than $4000 for it

I thoguht about that, but there is really no point. The fenders are all cut up and I don't have any of my stock parts any more.

That would be extraorinarly helpful, but the fenders are still chopped. I'm not sure how that would go over with a buyer. I think it would be better to leave it the way it is and find someone who would wheel it, or continue to daily drive it.

Its blocked. I've tried every image hosting thing known to man. I actually found a picture on my work computer though. It should come up as an attatchment.

The fenders being chopped is a big issue, if you try to sell it as a stock rig, you will get some people being very weary of the hacked up fenders.

If you sell it as is right now most buyers will be kids looking for a wheeling machine = easier to sell

Yeah I'd rather sell it to someone who will wheel it so its not a suprise to the owner when stuff like the swaybar links are cut off.
