Hoffman's changes the one they have on sale it is usually the M&P15ORC. That is an A3 with no sights.
The one I have pictured is already sold but I can build similar. Comes with a 30rd PMAG and Magpul flip up sights. Price would be $875.
Your basic AR ($700)which would be a rifle stock, standard hand guard and iron sights.I need the 4.0L!!!!!!!!!!!

Wrong.... In the state of Connecticut there is NO FFL required to do a person to person transfer of a long gun. The buyer just needs to be 18 or older. There can even be handgun transfers from person to person but you need to call DPS to get an authorization number.I need the 4.0L!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, you need an FFL if you are going to build firearms for people, especially state it on a public forum. We aren't trying to be dicks, but according to the BATFE you are manufacturing of firearms for resale, which does in fact require an FFL.
The only way to avoid this is to have your customer purchase the lower itself and have them give you money to build the rest. The second you purchase a lower with the intent to build and sell, you are manufacturing for resale.
You have the potential to get royally fucked because you are not keeping records or paying the government an excise tax either for each AR15 you build.
I really don't care what you do, but don't play fucking stupid. I'm just telling you the laws.Last edited by Buffalo Phil; 03-23-2011, 07:43 AM.sigpic

The moment you buy a lower and plan to add parts to it for resale, you are manufacturing. End of Discussion.sigpic

I cant believe I just saw this...... Oh course you cant do this... Who do you think you are, Lord of War.
The best thing for you to do is sit with someone and inform them on what they should buy. Just like if someone came to you and aksed for advise on what the best AR they can get for the money. They need to purchase the firearm through someone other than you, Mr. Arms Dealer.Sergeant Sergeant Master Sergeant Shooter Person
